Unbelievable P800

by jcf. Average Reading Time: less than a minute.

I got it – today I got a call, that my SonyEricsson P800 was waiting for me….

What a nice phone! I’m playing around with it and trying to get it to sync all my adresses and calendar items. I managed to get my addresses over from Outlook, but no go on the calendar front. Also some program complains all the time that Outlook is not the default mail client – by god – NO of course not. Now I’m in the process of moving my adresses and calendar entries to Lotus Notes – the adresses synced perfectly – let’s see how the calendar goes.

If you are using Notes 6 be careful: calendar and journal synchronisation is (still) not supported.

    Good luck.

  2. Thanks for the link – luckily my clients all use Notes R5 so that problem hasn’t manifested for me yet. But there is hope – As far as I understand it’s only a matter of creating the necessary R5 Registry entry to make it happen – here’s a link: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/DateAllThreadedweb/95629f3e193f009b85256cc6005aa8d8?OpenDocument (that makes at least contacts and to-do’s sync and some have reported luck with calendar as well)

  3. Ahhrg – actually reading what you have been writing would make me look better… I’m tired – does that serve as an excuse?
